We engaged Dan and his team from Pivotal Building Projects to not only undertake an extension of our 1950’s house but to also bring the existing house back to frame and rebuild (including asbestos removal). In short, it was a big project! When we first met Dan he was completing a renovation a couple of houses down from us and came highly recommended. He impressed us with his passion for older houses and we felt that he truly understood what we were trying to achieve with our renovation. Being an old house, it wasn’t without its challenges. We were determined we wanted the original house and the extension to look seamless and after overcoming some tricky obstacles this was certainly achieved. Throughout the build, Dan was forthcoming with ideas to enhance the finished product and also offering alternate suggestions if there was something we weren’t completely happy with. All the tradesmen that Dan had on the project did a great job and were also very easy to deal with. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dan, we found him to be reliable and honest and the end result is a home we will love for a long time.
